I continued our tradition of finishing off the the year and starting the New Year Camping! We have been doing this for many years now and its a great way for us to enjoy our senior years.

When we were a little younger we would hike into remote locations, The past several years we just head out in the woods in our RV Van.

This year as in the past 4 years we went to St. Johns Trail Head, where we met up with our friends from Ohio, Dave and Carol, the have been coming down to Florida to spend the winter fishing lake Okeechobee. I cooked up the annual Ham and 15 bean soup hanging the cast iron pot from the trip pod over the fire. Dave and Carol supplied the corn bread.
