After of 2 week of warm spring like weather 60's at night and low 80's daytime. Waking up trees and flowers pollen flying, noses running eyes tearing. The chill is back freeze and frost warning just in time for our new moon camping trip.


I have been planning camping back out at Hopkins for the new moon. Should be great for stars and stuff. There is no light pollution so should be very dark. Got the camera all setup for time laps.

Weather should be good by Friday temps back up to 70's for daytime low 60's night time great campfire weather. Slight chance of showers but not wash out.

If conditions permit may do some night hiking out in the prairie to find good camera location away from trees in order to get complete sky view. Even on the prairie edge you can still get very wide view of sky.
