Health update January 2023 Age 71

Starting to introduce some different things in my daily routine. Looking to reverse some of the damage I did to my self in my early years. I had high stress job in my 40's-50's with not the best diet.

Recovered and I am Over that phase of my life.

Intermittent Fasting now 6 years.
KETO now for 6 years.

Longer fasts about every 3-4 months, since I don't take any pharmaceuticals no RX or OTC.

The way I feel every day I must be on the right track.

I feel my mental capacity is the way I felt in my early 30's-40's, I'm also in better physical condition metabolically, not quite as strong physically, Working on that.

I like the taste of beer and can easily consume more than I should. Not getting drunk, but consuming way to many carbs, hampering cellular metabolism. Spiking insulin affecting sleep diminishing energy.

So stopped beer day after Thanksgiving!

Introducing some changes to my supplements



January 29 13:11


Taking 1/2 servings of NMN 250mg Resverstrol 500mg first time Recommended 6 hr after waking up.
No negative side effects

January 30 full servings of NMN 500mg Resverstrol 500mg
Taking capsules no noticeable change.

January 31 full servings of NMN 500 mg in coffee with coconut oil & butter. Supposed to be better bio-available in fat.

Added Moringa and fruit veggies blend to my protein shake.

My energy level was through the roof! All day not tired, was concerned I might not sleep or have trouble getting to sleep. I did not have jittery feeling like caffeine buzz. Just lots of energy. I just don't get tired during the day.

I believe dissolving in butter & coconut oil is the key.

I generally have good energy level every day, waking very refreshed and ready to go. But energy starts to wain around 1-2 pm not tired just diminishing. No diminished energy today 5pm still refreshed and functional as in AM.

No problem getting to sleep, or staying asleep,

About my normal pattern
As generally go to bed around 9 pm awake at 5 am. Getting up no more than 1 time around 2am.

I have no spike in HR OR BP. Just steady energy level all day.

February 1 2023



Same combo bullet proof coffee with NMN dissolved in butter.

TODAY I will try to push my HR above the normal workout range of 60-80% of max which is 149bpm. I would like to maintain 115-120bpm for longer time.


February 2
Repeat of previous day, sharp mental clarity, plenty of energy all day. Sleep still great 7.5 hours, without waking for the bathroom, until 5:00 am my normal get up time.

February 3
Repeat of previous day.
Feel sharp and alert.

My cellular metabolism is doing awesome. I really feel metabolic health is improving, no cravings or jittery feeling smooth and steady.

I'm going to add in amino acid Glycine to improve collagen production. I don't eat red meat. Mostly plant-based diet with KETO.

So I just glide along same routine, get up 5:00 am feed the cats start my day. Get my supplements and protein shake.

Relax on the porch watching the cat's. Great de-stressor after checking current events around the world. Check my Etsy shop for orders shipping any new.

Little garden work, just staying busy.

I didn't keep up with daily updates as everything was the same. But after 2 months definitely feel the difference

More vigorous exercise routine.

So it's been 2 months on my NMN super energy level it's almost like I can feel my cellular activity.

Feeling more mentally clear, skin getting stronger not as easy to get cut from bumps. Mobility restored full range of motion I'm now more able to workout using resistance bands.

Still keeping my 7 to 7.5 hrs sleep
With 1.5-2hrs deep sleep
Heart rate 50's with 70's average
Blood pressure 110/70 average

Walking 3-4 miles daily

Intermittent fasting
I eat about 12:00 13:00 daily
Some KETO snacks mid day super at 17:00-18:00.
Done eating gives me 2.5-3 hours digest before going to bed at 21:00.

Waking at 05:00 bathroom and start my day.

April 28 2023



Updates discover I can't take NMN in the evening burst of energy before bed not good.

Overall energy is through the roof, I'm able to work all day without tiring. No caffeine like rush or jitters just energy. My whole body feels super changed.

I also have some skin spots healed, wrinkles are smoothing out. Possibly hair roots darker, just can't tell.

It's almost like I can feel my cells repairing, old injuries rejuvenate, small scars vanishing.


May 1 2023


Trying to gain about 5 lbs. Need to increase my calories, The more active I get more calories I burn.

2225 for BMR.

Need to add 500 calories, A 10 mile bike ride I'm burning off any extra calories.

So after trying to increase my Calories to 2600-2700, I lost 2 lbs. My energy and activity level has increased so burning more calories. So I have to increase my calorie intake buy more than I burn. Hard to monitor and keep track.

May 11 2023
Hip pain now gone completely I had days in past several years with some reduced hip pain. Gone now as is the sciatica pain, mostly I can make it through the day with the sciatica pain, but buy evening it getting to hurt. It has diminished now to almost not existing.

I do have some strange things happening, feels like sympathetic pain at areas of old injuries. Old cuts bruises and sprains will hurt for while just like the original injury. Then its gone I even have some scars disappear.
