I have been pushing my bike trips, to as close to 20 miles as possible..
I'm training to Heart rate, I ride with HR Monitor and Cadence.
My max HR buy conventional means the old standard 220-age[72] yields HR of 148. At 148 i'm still able to carry on conversation so I have not reached Anaerobic HR. SO I'M using 180 as max HR which is rate for some one 40 years old. This closer to reality.
I'm continuing to ride at different levels, pushing my limit, testing. My VO2MAX is closer to someone in there 40's Max HR would 180 which is what i'm using now for training.
I will be heading out to Ocala NF, later today little bikepaking camping and hopefully some trail rides in sand & gravel with fully loaded bike. There is some nice long rolling hills, no high climbs but long grades.
