Scouting for camping spots

I went scouting trails in the Ocala national Forest our main goal was just a get way from town for a while. But we were scouting for primitive camping AKA dispersed camping.

Looking to head out for some primative camping as soon as possible. Worked out the bedroll much better blanket. Looks like every thing will pack on to my vintage snow shoe style chair that will be the pack frame.

Rain building for the next several days the cold front. Cool night great time to head out.. Looking to head into the bush, general gun season is about 3 weeks off so dispersed camping is open.

It will be new moon so plenty dark!

Seemed like nice day for ride in the Ocala National Forest, wanted to check on some of our favorite camp spot's. We have been having lots of rain everyday. Most of the local lakes that have been dry for many years now are full pool. Rivers and streams bank full!

While on one of the Forest Roads we came upon Immature Red Shoulder Hawk. It was just sitting in the road, so I stopped and it just sat there.
